WASHINGTON (AP) – Another military judge has stepped down from the Sept. 11 war crimes tribunal at the U.S. Navy base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a further blow to an already long-stalled case.

Marine Col. Stephen F. Keane said in an order issued Friday that he must recuse himself from the case because of his past work for the government and personal connections to victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. He was appointed last month.

Keane is the fifth judge to preside over the trial by military commission for five men held at Guantanamo who are charged with planning and assisting the hijacking plot that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

Keane said he believes he could serve as an impartial judge in the death penalty case. But the Marine colonel said he did not want to cause further delays or grounds for appeal in a case that has been bogged down in pretrial proceedings since the May 2012 arraignment.

“My continued presence as the military judge in this case arguably creates an appearance of bias,” Keane wrote, before concluding that his recusal is “immediately required.”

Keane, describing his possible conflicts, noted that he grew up in the New York City area and had a close relative who worked for the Fire Department but retired before the Sept. 11 attacks. He also served in a Defense Department counter-terrorism task force, in which he conducted legal reviews concerning the transfer of detainees from Afghanistan to Guantanamo, where the U.S. now holds 40 prisoners.

He also served as a Marine Corps fellow at the Justice Department, working on counter-terrorism issues dealing with al-Qaida, though not on any work directly involving the five defendants in the Guantanamo war crimes case.

In addition, Keane said has a “significant personal connection” to people who were “directly affected by the events of 9/11,” though he did not provide any details.

The five defendants face charges that include terrorism and nearly 3,000 counts of murder in violation of the laws of war. The men include Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, who has portrayed himself as the architect of the Sept. 11 attack and other plots.

Their case has been stalled by its complexity and the challenge of staging a proceeding that combines military and civilian law at the remote base, with prosecution and defense teams flying in periodically for pretrial hearings.

It has also been delayed over legal challenges stemming from the brutal treatment of the five defendants in CIA custody before they were charged. Their lawyers are challenging statements they made to authorities as the product of torture.

The case also has been held up by non-legal issues, including the coronavirus outbreak and the departure of the previous judges.

The initial judge, Army Col. James Pohl, announced his retirement in August 2018 after a long career. The judge who replaced him then retired as well. A third judge, also a Marine colonel, left to take another position last year, leaving a senior judge to preside for about six months until Keane was appointed to the case in September.

A trial before a jury of military officers had, at one point, been scheduled to start in January but a new date has not been set. The next pretrial hearing is in March.

NEW YORK (AP) – With New York City poised to reopen after a more than two-month coronavirus shutdown, officials on Sunday lifted a curfew that was in place amid protests of police brutality and racial injustice. But they also urged that demonstrators be tested for COVID-19.

“Get a test. Get a test,” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo told people who have been participating in rallies and marches in memory of George Floyd.

He said the state would open 15 testing sites dedicated to protesters so they can get results quickly.

“I would act as if you were exposed, and I would tell people you are interacting with, assume I am positive for the virus,” Cuomo added.

The call is similar to those made in Seattle, San Francisco and Atlanta following massive demonstrations, with free testing for protesters.

New York has been the epicenter of the U.S. outbreak, with black communities hit especially hard.

The Rev. Brandon Watts of Epiphany Church in Brooklyn, was mindful of the pandemic while organizing a “Pray & Protest” march with several other churches. He mandated that protesters wear masks, and he came with boxes of them. He also asked the group to try to maintain social distancing but acknowledged “it’s kind of hard in a protest.”

Attendees also were offered free coronavirus tests at one church.

“COVID-19 hit the inner city harder than anybody else,” Watts said. “And so we have to be very careful. We’re the only ones in a pandemic within a pandemic.”

Brooklyn resident Celeste Douglas attended her third protest in the past week and said she’ll continue until legislation is passed on budgets for police and education.

“I want to tell my children when they ask when this stuff started to change, I want to tell them I was a part of it,” Douglas said, acknowledging being nervous in a crowd during a pandemic but also planning to be tested.

Catherine Corien, a 60-year-old dental hygienist in Brooklyn, said fear of catching the virus prevented her from participating until Sunday. She finally ventured out and stood near the back, wearing a mask and keeping some distance from other protesters.

“I’m very concerned, but at the same time, a lot of people, if they are like me and decided to stay home, nothing would have happened,” she said. “I’m very proud of the people that came out.”

New York City prepared to enter its first phase of reopening after virus shutdowns. Up to 400,000 people are expected to head back to the workplace Monday, with many using a subway system that most New Yorkers have avoided since March to keep away from crowds.

Mayor Bill de Blasio lifted the city’s 8 p.m. curfew imposed for the Floyd protests. The police pulled back on enforcing the curfew Saturday as thousands turned out.

“Last night was the best by far,” de Blasio said. “We had the biggest number of protesters, the fewest arrests, the fewest problems and that convinced me it was time for the curfew to go away. I have no intention of bringing it back.”

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot also lifted the city’s curfew, reopened downtown train stations and allowed full bus service to resume following days of largely calm protests.

Cities imposed curfews amid last week’s spasms of arson, assaults and smash-and-grab raids on businesses. Recent U.S. protests have been overwhelmingly peaceful, as were rallies held around the globe.

Floyd’s body arrived in Texas for a third and final memorial service, said Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo. A viewing is planned for Monday in Houston, followed by a service and burial Tuesday in suburban Pearland.

The 46-year-old out-of-work bouncer died after a Minneapolis police officer pressed his knee into his neck for several minutes even after he stopped responding. His death has drawn new attention to the treatment of African Americans by police and the criminal justice system.

In Washington, D.C., National Guard troops from South Carolina were seen checking out of their hotel Sunday shortly before President Donald Trump tweeted he was giving the order to withdraw them from the nation’s capital.

The D.C. mayor had called on Trump last week to withdraw outside forces amid days of largely peaceful rallies after he ordered guard troops to “dominate” the streets.

At the newly renamed Black Lives Matter Plaza near the White House, protesters posed with the street sign and the yellow block lettering painted on the pavement by the city. As ice cream truck jingles mixed with protest chats, the district’s Metropolitan Police Department patrolled in place of federal law enforcement officers and National Guard troops.

On Saturday, a small group of demonstrators toppled a statue of a Confederate general in Richmond, Virginia, the former capital of the Confederacy. Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam has pledged to remove a statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee after days of Floyd protests.

Protesters in Bristol, England , tore down a statue of Edward Colston, a 17th century slave trader, and pushed it into the harbor of the port city in southwestern England.

In other protests outside the U.S.:

– A crowd estimated at 10,000, many in face masks, filled a square in front of the main courthouse in Brussels, holding white roses and signs decrying racism. “You think you are tired of hearing about racism? We are tired of experiencing it,” read one placard held up by a young black woman.

– In Milan, Italy, a few thousand people rallied against racism outside the central train station, many of them African migrants or the children of migrants who want to see reforms making it easier to receive citizenship. One held a sign saying, “I Fight For My Kids.”

– Thousands massed outside the gleaming new U.S. Embassy in London, where student Darcy Bourne said the demonstration was about “more than just George Floyd, more than just America, but racism all around the world.”

– Thousands wearing masks against the virus gathered peacefully in Spain’s main cities, including at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, to denounce racism and chant: “Police murderers!” and “No justice, no peace!” A protest also was held in central Barcelona.

NEW YORK – Peaceful protests over the death of George Floyd have continued in New York City with thousands of demonstrators, most of them wearing masks, walking through Manhattan without a looming curfew.

The city had been scheduled to leave its 8 p.m. curfew in place through at least Sunday night. But Mayor Bill de Blasio announced in the morning that it would be nixed, saying, “Yesterday and last night we saw the very best of our city.”

New York City police pulled back on enforcing the curfew Saturday night, as thousands took to the streets for another day of marches and rallies sparked by the May 25 death of Floyd.

The citywide curfew was the first in decades.

___

BRUSSELS – Police in Brussels detained 150 people and fired a water cannon to quell unrest after a Black Lives Matter protest that drew thousands of people on Sunday.

The city mayor, Philippe Close, blamed the violence on “delinquents” and noted that the 10,000 people who demonstrated earlier in the day did so calmly. Video on social media showed youths smashing shop windows.

The multiracial crowd that demonstrated earlier filled a large square in front of the city’s main courthouse.

Protesters held up white roses and placards decrying racism. “You think you are tired of hearing about racism? We are tired of experiencing it” read a cardboard placard held up by a young black woman.

Belgium media RTBF reported that people also gathered in the cities of Anvers and Gand, where demonstrators observed a silence of 8 minutes and 46 seconds. That corresponds to the length of time that prosecutors say George Floyd was pinned to the ground under a white Minneapolis police officer’s knee.

___

CHICAGO – Mayor Lori Lightfoot has lifted Chicago’s curfew and the city has reopened downtown train stations and allowed full bus service to resume following days of protests that largely remained peaceful.

Lightfoot imposed the 9 p.m. curfew on May 30 during a night of unrest that included widespread vandalism and break-ins that followed peaceful protests earlier that day over the death of George Floyd.

Access to the Loop was limited to essential workers for days, with bridges over the Chicago River raised and streets blocked. Several hundred Illinois National Guard were brought into Chicago to enforce the limited access. The mayor announced the lifting of the curfew Sunday on Twitter.

Meanwhile, demonstrations over Floyd’s death and police brutality continued on Sunday, with hundreds gathering at an intersection on the city’s South Side.

Community activist Jahmal Cole says that since many stores boarded their windows and shut down because of the protests, parts of the South Side have become food and pharmacy deserts, with residents having to travel 15 to 20 minutes for milk or their medications.

___

DEARBORN, Mich – Crews in Dearborn, Michigan, have removed a statue of the city’s longest-serving mayor, who favored segregationist policies and made racist comments over his 35-year tenure that ended in 1977.

The statue of Orville Hubbard had been on the grounds of the Dearborn Historical Museum for several years after it was removed from the former City Hall campus in 2015. It was taken down Friday.

A city spokeswoman says the statute had become a “divisive symbol rather than a unifying one.” Calls for the statue to be removed were renewed in light of the widespread protests over George Floyd’s death. Hubbard died in 1982.

Dearborn is next to Detroit and has the largest Muslim population in the U.S.

___

WASHINGTON – Newly named Black Lives Matter Plaza near the White House is full of peaceful protesters and has the communal feeling of a street fair.

Federal law enforcement officers and National Guard members who had been out in force for a week have largely withdrawn and have been replaced by city police in Washington, D.C., who have blocked off adjacent roads to give demonstrators space.

The jingles of ice cream trucks are mixing with protest chants. Protesters are posing with the new sign the city painted in big yellow block letters on 16th Street that reads “BLACK LIVES MATTER.”

___

LONDON – Anti-racism protesters in the southwestern England port city of Bristol have toppled the statue of a prominent slave trader and dumped it into the harbor.

Footage from local broadcaster ITV News West Country shows demonstrators attach ropes to the statue of Edward Colston before pulling it down on Sunday and eventually dumping it into the harbor.

Images on social media show protesters appearing to kneel on the statue’s neck, recalling how a white Minneapolis police officer used his knee to pin down George Floyd’s neck before the handcuffed black man died May 25.

Colston, who was born in 1636, has been a controversial figure in Bristol. Among efforts to “decolonize” the city have been calls to remove his name from its biggest music venue, Colston Hall.

In his 40s, Colston was prominently involved in Britain’s sole official slaving company at the time, the Royal African Company, which transported tens of thousands of Africans across the Atlantic Ocean, mainly to the Caribbean.

Bristol, an an international port, was a center of the slave trade and benefited hugely financially.

Britain formally abolished the slave trade in 1807.

___

MILAN – A few thousand people gathered outside the central train station in Italy’s financial capital, Milan, to protest racism and the recent death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Many in the crowd Sunday were migrants or the children of migrants from Africa. Organizers told participants that in Italy, the Black Lives Matter slogan means avoiding “seeing black bodies as if they’re foreigners” and not as citizens. One said it means not delaying legislative reform to make it easier to receive citizenship.

Foreigners born in Italy aren’t automatically eligible for citizenship until they reach 18 after continuously living in the country. Efforts in recent years have failed to enact legislation to allow foreigners’ children born in Italy to become citizens while still minors if they’ve attended Italian schools. Such parents complain that their children are viewed as second-class citizens even though they identify as Italian and speak the language fluently.

Many protesters wore masks or disposable gloves, and one of the organizers used a loudspeaker to remind people not to share objects and to stay a safe distance apart. Italy has greatly eased its coronavirus restrictions in recent weeks as the rate of contagion steadily slowed.

___

HOUSTON – Houston’s police chief says the body of George Floyd has arrived in Texas for a final memorial service and funeral.

Police Chief Art Acevedo tweeted early Sunday that Floyd’s family also arrived safely. A six-hour viewing for Floyd is planned for Monday in Houston, followed by funeral services and burial Tuesday in the suburb of Pearland.

Floyd, who was handcuffed and black, died May 25 after a white Minneapolis police officer pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck for several minutes as Floyd begged for air and eventually stopped moving. His death has inspired protests around the world and served as a rallying cry against institutional racism.

Previous memorials were held for Floyd in Minneapolis and Raeford, North Carolina, which is near where he was born.

___

BUDAPEST, Hungary – Hundreds of people have attended a peaceful rally outside the U.S. embassy in Budapest to express their solidarity with the Black Lives Matter protests in the U.S. sparked by the death of George Floyd.

Speeches and songs like Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come” and Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” were heard on Liberty Square before the crowd knelt for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. That was the amount of time that a white Minneapolis police officer kept his knee on the the neck of Floyd, a handcuffed black man who pleaded for air before eventually going motionless during his May 25 arrest for suspicion of using a counterfeit bill at a shop.

The demonstration was one of many held throughout the world this weekend over Floyd’s death and institutional racism.

Elizabeth Sadusky, a U.S. student in Hungary, said: “I think having these kinds of events around the world is really important to show solidarity and to show the rest of the world that the U.S. isn’t perfect.”

___

MADRID – Several thousand people have gathered in Spain’s main cities to show their support for the Black Lives Matter protests in the United States and to denounce racial discrimination in Europe.

A few thousand protesters gathered around the U.S. embassy in Madrid on Sunday. Many carried homemade signs reading “Black Lives Matter,” “Human rights for all” and “Silence is pro-racist.”

Protesters chanted “Police murderers!” and “No justice, no peace!” Police were present but the atmosphere remained peaceful. Social distancing was difficult, however everyone wore a mask.

Thimbo Samb, a spokesman for the group that organized the protest, says the demonstration was to protest the death of George Floyd but also to call attention to racism in Spain and elsewhere in Europe.

Thousands also filled a central square in Barcelona and there were other protests called for in smaller cities.

___

In Rome’s sprawling People’s Square, thousands of demonstrators turned out for the city’s first major rally against racism.

With a great majority wearing masks to protect themselves against the coronavirus, participants listened to speeches for several hours and held up hand-made placards reading “Black Lives Matter” and “It’s a White Problem.” At one point the protesters, most of them young and some with children or young siblings, kneeled and raised their fists in solidarity with those fighting racism.

“It’s quite unfortunate, you know, in this current 21st century that people of color are being treated as if they are lepers,’’ said 26-year-old Ghanian Abdul Nassir, who was at the rally and is studying in Rome for a master’s degree in business management. He said he occasionally has felt racist attitudes, notably when riding the subway.

Migration of people of color to Italy, including from sub-Saharan Africa, was relatively infrequent until about 25 years ago, and there isn’t yet a vast first-generation population who have come of age.

The noisy, peaceful rally had many organizers, including the grassroots protest group Sardines, a women’s group, a U.S. expatriates organization, a group called Neri Italiani – Black Italians – and a 25-year-old Roman student, Denise Berhane.

Asked by SKYTG24 if Italy has a racism problem, Berhane said, “There are some problems in the country if all these people turned out.”

The Latest on the coronavirus pandemic. The new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms for most people. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness or death.

TOP OF THE HOUR:

– Russian health official says more than 100 medics have died of coronavirus.

TOP STORIES

– New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says it’s time to relaunch New York City’s economy.

Rome’s Colosseum to open after three-month shutdown.

___

MOSCOW – A Russian health official said Tuesday that 101 medics have died of the coronavirus, according to data provided by regional authorities.

Health care workers question the official toll and believe that the real figure is much higher. An online list of medics who died compiled by their colleagues has over 300 names.

Russia ranks third in the world behind the United States and Brazil, with over 360,000 infections, including 3,807 deaths.

The country’s relatively low mortality rate raises doubts among experts in Russia and in the West, drawing suspicions that the authorities could have manipulated the statistics and under reported virus-related deaths for political reasons.

Russian officials angrily reject the allegations and argue that the low death toll reflects the effectiveness of the measures taken to stem the outbreak.

___

DODOMA, Tanzania – Tanzania’s foreign affairs ministry says it has summoned the U.S. ambassador to express displeasure over embassy statements suggesting that Tanzania’s government is hiding the true number of virus cases.

The East African nation hasn’t updated its number of cases since the end of April and President John Magufuli has claimed the virus has been defeated through prayer. Cases have been frozen at just over 500 for weeks.

The U.S. Embassy in two statements this month said hospitals in the commercial hub of Dar es Salaam are full of COVID-19 patients.

Tanzania’s statement says acting U.S. Ambassador Imni Patterson met with Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary Wilbert Ibuge, who expressed Tanzania’s disappointment and said the government is willing to share information about COVID-19 infections as long as it is requested through official channels.

While African nations have been praised for their pandemic response, Tanzania has been the exception.

___

BRUSSELS – International donors on Tuesday pledged more than 2.5 billion euros ($2.7 billion) in support of refugees and migrants from Venezuela as the coronavirus pandemic deepens their plight.

Venezuela is gripped by a deepening political and economic crisis under President Nicolás Maduro. Refugee agencies have said that the number of people fleeing the country could reach 6.5 million by the end of 2020. Most stay in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The money will help the refugees and migrants to integrate and bolster host communities also struggling with the virus. Relief aid focusing on health, protection, food, water and education will also be financed.

UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi says it’s “extremely significant” that such sums were raised in these coronavirus times for a crisis that he says has recently been forgotten.

The meeting was hosted by the EU and Spain and involved around 50 UN agencies and financial institutions.

___

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont is preparing to close some of the surge sites that were set up in case COVID-19 infections overwhelmed the state’s hospitals.

WCAX-TV reports that pop-up sites, like the one at the Spartan Arena in Rutland, were designed for non-COVID patients in case hospitals became inundated with patients who did have the coronavirus. The Rutland site, which could handle 150 patients, was never used.

Human Services Secretary Mike Smith says the sites in Rutland, St. Albans, and Barre will be the first to close.

If conditions change, the sites could be reopened.

___

BATON ROUGE, La. – More than 1,800 students are living on university campuses around Louisiana, even though they’ve been taking classes online and have been encouraged to return home because of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Advocate report s.

The students include 650 at Louisiana State University, 310 at Louisiana Tech, 50-60 at Tulane University, six at Grambling State, and four at Northwestern State, and they have a wide variety of reasons for remaining.

The reasons given range from being from a state or country that’s become a COVID-19 hotspot, to avoiding home because of abusive or drug-ridden families, officials say.

___

NEW YORK – Gov. Andrew Cuomo says it’s time to focus on relaunching New York City’s moribund economy after weeks of declining deaths and hospitalizations.

After ringing open the Stock Exchange, the Democratic governor laid out a plan that includes accelerating major infrastructure projects and tackling transmission of the new coronavirus in the hardest-hit neighborhoods.

The mid-Hudson Valley, including the city’s northern suburbs, on Tuesday became the latest region of New York state to begin slowly phasing in economic activity. Long Island was expected to follow Wednesday, which would leave New York City as the only region awaiting the start of reopening.

Statewide hospitalization rates continue to decline with about 200 new cases a day. The number of deaths reported Monday dropped to 73, the lowest number since late March.

___

ISTANBUL – Turkey’s death toll from COVID-19 has reached 4,397 with 28 new deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the health minister.

Fahrettin Koca tweeted Tuesday 948 new infections, bringing the total number of cases to 158,762.

More than 121,500 people have recovered and people needing intensive care continued on a downward trend, according to the health ministry statistics.

Turkey ranks ninth in a tally by Johns Hopkins University for the number of cases, but experts believe the rate of infections globally could be much higher than reported. The country ranks 14th in number of deaths.

Turkey’s 83 million citizens are on the final day of a four-day nationwide lockdown. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said he hoped this restriction to stay at home would be the last round. He’s expected to announce new policies and easing measures against COVID-19 later this week.

The country has opted for weekend and holiday lockdowns in large cities for nearly two months and has kept people above 65 and under 20 at home.

___

ROME – Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli has revealed that he’s recovered after being stricken with COVID-19 and has donated plasma for research about coronavirus treatments.

Bocelli visited a hospital Tuesday in the Tuscan city of Pisa to donate.

Some coronavirus patients have received plasma from former patients as part of their treatment to boost recovery. The singer told reporters outside the hospital that he had suffered only mild symptoms after a positive swab test on March 10.

Bocelli said he finds it “hard to metabolize” the concept that a virus could “bring the whole world … to its knees.”

On Easter Sunday in April, Bocelli sang solo in Milan’s empty Duomo cathedral during the lockdown in Italy, where the COVID-19 outbreak began in Europe.

___

PHILADELPHIA – Dozens of people who have been sleeping at the city’s airport during the COVID-19 pandemic are being tested rapidly before being taken to homeless shelters, officials said Tuesday.

The airport had run out of other options for handling the crowd, spokesperson Florence Brown said.

At the peak of the encampment, more than 150 people slept at the baggage claim areas around Terminal A, which in part serves international flights and has been out of use for about two months.

Problems have mounted because of worker complaints and less access to food, staff cleaning and bathroom supplies.

Parts of the baggage claim area will be put back in use around June 4, officials have said.

___

ROME – The Colosseum will start receiving visitors again after three months of shutdown during COVID-19 containment measures.

To lower the risk of possible contagion at one of Italy’s most popular tourist attractions, tourists must wear protective masks and have their temperatures taken before entering the ancient arena, which re-opens to tourism on June 1.

Entrance times will be staggered to discourage crowding and tickets must be bought online. A reduced-price ticket will be available for afternoon visitors in an effort to encourage Romans to visit the monument at the end of their working day, especially while Italy awaits for tourism from overseas to resume.

Tickets to the Colosseum also allow entrance to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. But tourists to those two sites will no longer be able to wander at will through the sprawling ancient ruins. Instead, they will have to follow fixed paths.

___

LONDON – Health Secretary Matt Hancock is reporting that Britain’s overall number of deaths involving the new coronavirus is at the lowest in six weeks.

Officials also said that for the first time since March 18, there were no such deaths recorded in Northern Ireland on Monday.

Official U.K. figures show an increase of 134 deaths recorded with a positive coronavirus test, bringing the country’s total death toll to 37,048 on Tuesday. That figure rises to 45,231 when taking into account suspected cases and all deaths where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.

John Newton, the national Covid-19 testing coordinator, added that the number of coronavirus hospital admissions in England was down to 471, the lowest number recorded.

UNITED NATIONS – Two major children’s organizations say the number of children in poor and middle-income countries living below the poverty line could increase by 86 million to 672 million by the end of 2020 as a result of the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic.

UNICEF and the Save the Children humanitarian and rights organization said in an analysis released Tuesday that nearly two-thirds of all children living in poverty are in sub-Saharan Africa and south Asia. But they said countries across Europe and central Asia could see a 44 percent increase across the region, while Latin America and the Caribbean could see a 22 percent increase from the coronavirus impact.

UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore said the unprecedented socioeconomic crisis from COVID-19 “threatens to roll back years of progress in reducing child poverty and to leave children deprived of essential services.”

To mitigate the impact of the pandemic, Save the Children and UNICEF called for rapid and large-scale expansion of social protection systems and an array of programs, including cash transfers, school feeding, and child benefits to address immediate financial needs.

MADRID – Spain’s Health Ministry is reporting a slight increase in its national death toll from the new coronavirus, to 27,117, as it changes the way cases are counted.

Authorities said 35 deaths occurred over the past seven days, though almost 250 other deaths were added to the total.

On Monday, the Health Ministry cut the death toll by almost 2,000 after sifting through and correcting data, and that review is continuing.

The total number of cases rose to 236,259, with 194 diagnosed over the previous 24 hours and 3,222 over the past seven days.

___

ROME – Two northern regions account for far more than half of Italy’s latest confirmed cases of the new coronavirus.

According to Health Ministry figures, Lombardy registered 159 new cases in the 24-hour period ending Tuesday evening, while neighboring Piedmont registered 86 cases. The only other region to have more than 50 cases in the day-to-day tally was Liguria, also in the north.

Italy’s overall number of confirmed COVID-19 infections rose to 230,555 with the addition of 397 cases nationwide. Italy saw one of the lowest day-to-day number of deaths of patients since the first days of the outbreak with 78 more deaths registered.

That brings the nation’s count to 32,995 known deaths.

___

BERLIN – Europe’s aviation safety agency is calling on airlines and airports to participate in a new program to help evaluate new coronavirus guidelines in real-life situations.

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency said Tuesday that the program will focus on airlines that are fully applying the guidelines flying to airports that are also applying them.

The guidelines were published last week by EASA in conjunction with the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control with the goal of allowing air travel to restart in safe conditions. The guidelines include distancing measures, hand hygiene, mask recommendations and also rely on passengers taking personal responsibility, such as postponing travel if they learn they have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19.

The Cologne, Germany-based agency says participating airlines and airports will sign a pledge to abide by the guidelines, coordinate with national authorities, and design practical solutions when they encounter problems implementing the guidelines.

___

ATHENS – Greek health officials say they are ending their regular live televised briefings on the course of the coronavirus pandemic, which has essentially been brought under control in the country.

Sotiris Tsiodras, the government’s coronavirus task force chief, said Tuesday that while he will retain his duties, from now on the briefings will be written unless some special development dictates otherwise.

Tsiodras announced 10 new coronavirus infections over the past 24 hours and one more death, bringing the total to 2,892 infections and 173 deaths in a country of less than 11 million.

VERITE – When you’re gone

Sitting in depression
Always carving me irreverent
If I pray the wayward lesson
But your mouth can do it better
Then some god who don’t speak

Fucking up my language
Make some words, we’re never fading
If you stay, say you’ll save me
You can take it all away
When you leave I’ll feel the same

I don’t mind you leaving when the damage is done
And I don’t mind, I feel the same when you’re gone

‘Cause once your loss, once your lies
I don’t wanna be here anymore, anymore
There’s no difference here for when you’re gone, when you’re gone
I’m not crawling on my knees to keep you here

‘Cause once your loss, once your lies
I don’t wanna be here anymore, anymore
There’s no difference here for when you’re gone, when you’re gone
I’m not crawling on my knees to keep you here

Baby take me back to New York City
Where the stars don’t ever see me
I can hide under the scenery of a saturated sky
Just some conjugated meaning
Watch the light drip down your face
And when you’ll leave I’ll feel the same

I don’t mind you leaving when the damage is done
And I don’t mind, I feel the same when you’re gone

[Instrumental break]

‘Cause once your loss, once your lies
I don’t wanna be here anymore, anymore
There’s no difference here for when you’re gone, when you’re gone
I’m not crawling on my knees to keep you here

‘Cause once your loss, once your lies
I don’t wanna be here anymore, anymore
There’s no difference here for when you’re gone, when you’re gone
I’m not crawling on my knees to keep you here

(I’m not crawling on my knees to keep you here)
(I’m not crawling on my knees to keep you here)
(I’m not crawling on my knees to keep you here)

Hot sauce – Young M.A lyrics

Lyrics Young M.A – Hot sauce

Straight off the top
M.A bring them hoes out
Redlyfe bring them poles out.(hot sauce)

Pull up to the club with a bottle on me (that Henny)
I’m already sipping
Got five voicemails, I just left the brib
And my b*tch, she already tripping
Blu just rolled a blunt, he like, “bro you good?”
I’m like, “nah bro, let me hit it”
Puff puff drink, I don’t wanna think
Groupies want a picture, groupies gotta wait
I’m in another zone, I’m in another zone
My girl getting on my nerves, I ain’t going home
Ain’t got time for this shit (I don’t got time for this shit)
I ain’t got time for this b*tch (I don’t got time for this b*tch)
Throwing ones like money grow on trees
So when I look down all I see is green
Never look for love in the strip club
Where all the bartenders give me big hugs, wait
Hold up, turn around, tssk, girl
Where you think you going with that big butt?
Brown water sippin’ in that big cup
My nigga Bottle only rolling big blunts
Chill dude, you are not a tough guy
Not the only one with a gun, guy
My hitters like shootin’ shit for fun, guy
Head shot, hit the boy one time
Do not come to Brooklyn with that nonsense
I used to bag the work in them apartments
Now I get a bag for a walkthrough
If you want to book me, Big Savage who you talk to
While they making disses I’m just making hits
‘Cause if it don’t make dollars it don’t make no sense
This is chess, not checkers, learn the game dude
But I just can’t relate ’cause that’s what lames do
Big brown bone, she look like Babe Ruth
She let me hit it out the park like I’m Babe Ruth
Then I hit my dougie, ooh I’m pretty though
Bring that Hilfiger back and I’m jiggy though
Niggas know I’m hot but they envy though
Oh well, at least my b*tch is with me ho
This her favorite song, this her favorite song (OOOUUU)
She get in her Birk when they put this on
Owww, that’s the thot call
OOOUUU, shawty got that hot sauce
My guys don’t talk, they just pop off
If a thot tryna front, she’ll get dropped off
My homie Sav in that Porsche with the top off
I’m in that Audi with some slippers and some socks on
Doin’ 95 just to piss a cop off
Then I pull up to your hood and piss your block off (skrt skrt)
b*tch I got that hot sauce
So NY with these Timbs on
And shoutout to the girls who don’t wear sew-ins
Cause it’s all about my b*tches with the wigs on, OOOUUU
You don’t got no hot sauce
You are not hot, you a knockoff
f*ck around boy and get your top knocked off
Hear them hoes, yeah they quick to really pop off
And them Redlyfe niggas, yeah they pop off
And you know this the beat I can bop on
Yeah we bop on, New York City bop on ’em
Yeah we bop, I’ma bop, I’ma bop on ’em
OOOUUUUUU versuri-lyrics.info
Yeah we got that hot sauce
But you niggas got no hot sauce
This the type of beat I can bop on
I need a quick thot that can top off
This the year that I really get my guap on
And you know the whole game, I got a lock on
It’s Young M.A, Redlyfe, got that hot sauce
Redlyfe got that hot sauce

Ricky Martin – Livin’ La Vida Loca

She’s into superstitions
Black cats and voodoo dolls
I feel a premonition
That girl’s gonna make me fall
She’s into new sensation
New kicks in the candlelight
She’s got a new addiction
For every day and night
She’ll make you take your
Clothes off and go dancing in the rain
She’ll make you live her crazy life
But she’ll take away your pain
Like a bullet to your brain

Upside inside out
She’s livin’ la vida loca
She’ll push and pull you down
Livin’ la vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin’s the color of mocha
She will wear you out
Livin’ la vida loca
She’s livin la vida loca

Woke up in New York City
In a funky cheap hotel
She took my heart
And she took my money
She must’ve slipped me a sleepin’ pill
She never drinks the water
And makes you order
French champagne
Once you’ve has a taste of her
You’ll never be the same
Yeah, she’ll make you go insane

Upside inside out
She’s livin’ la vida loca
She’ll push and pull you down
Livin’ la vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin’s the color of mocha
She will wear you out
Livin’ la vida loca
She’s livin la vida loca

She’ll make you take your
Clothes off and go dancing in the rain
She’ll make you live her crazy life
Until you go insane
No, you’ll never be the same

Upside inside out
She’s livin’ la vida loca
She’ll push and pull you down
Livin’ la vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin’s the color of mocha
She will wear you out
Livin’ la vida loca
Livin’ la vida loca
Livin’ la vida loca
Livin’ la vida loca

Upside inside out
She’s livin’ la vida loca
She’ll push and pull you down
Livin’ la vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin’s the color of mocha
She will wear you out
Livin’ la vida loca

Pitbull – International Love

You can’t catch me boy
I am overseas at about a hundred Gs for sure
Don’t test me boy (don’t test me boy) ’cause I rap with the best
Fo’ sho three oh five to the death of me
Cremate my body let the ocean have what’s left of me
But for now forget about that
Blow the whistle, baby you’re the referee

You put it down like New York City
I never sleep wild like Los Angeles
My fantasy hotter than Miami I feel the heat
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love

I don’t play football
But I’ve touched down everywhere (everywhere?) everywhere
I don’t play baseball
But I’ve hit a home run everywhere everywhere
I’ve been to countries and cities I can’t pronounce
And the places on the globe I didn’t know existed
In Romania she pulled me to the side
And told me Pit you can have me and my sister
In Lebanon yeah the women the bomb
And in Greece you guessed it the women are sweet
Been all around the world
But I ain’t gonna lie there’s nothing like Miami’s heat

You put it down like New York City
I never sleep wild like Los Angeles
My fantasy hotter than Miami I feel the heat
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love

Down in DR they’re looking for visa’s
I Ain’t taking credit cards if you know what I mean
En cuba la cosa esta dura
But the woman get down, if you know what I mean
En Colombia the women got everything done, but they’re
Some of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen
In Brazil they’re freaky with big ol’ boobs
And their thongs, blue yellow and green
En L.A. tengo la Mexicana, en New York tengo la boricua
Besitos para todas las mujeres en Venezuela, muah
Y en Miami tengo cualquiera

You put it down like New York City
I never sleep wild like Los Angeles
My fantasy hotter than Miami I feel the heat
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love

There’s not a place that your love don’t affect me baby
So don’t ever change
I crossed the globe when I’m with you baby, hey

You put it down like New York City
I never sleep wild like Los Angeles
My fantasy hotter than Miami I feel the heat
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love

You put it down like New York City
I never sleep wild like Los Angeles
My fantasy hotter than Miami I feel the heat
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love
Oh oh oh oh it’s international love

You’re international, so international
You’re international, so international
You’re international, so international
Whoa whoa oh whoa whoa oh, international love
Whoa whoa oh whoa whoa oh, international love

Cam’ron – Welcome To New York City (feat. Jay-Z & Juelz Santana)

Turn the motherfuckin’ music up
Just Blaze, man, you owe me nigga
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Welcome to the Empire State
Home of the World Trade
Birthplace of Michael Jordan
Home of Biggie Smalls
Roc-A-Fella headquaters
Ladies and gentlemen, Killa Cam, Young Hov is definitely in the building
Brooklyn, Harlem World
Welcome to New York City, welcome to New York City
Stand the fuck up

I’m a B.K. brawler, Marcy projects hallway loiterer
Pure coke copper, get your order up
I bring ’em to Baltimore in the Ford Explorer
It’s gonna cost you more if I gotta get ’em to Florida
Rucker game attender; with the Bent parked
On the sidewalk with the temp plates on the fender
I ain’t hard to find you catch me front and center
At the Knick game, big chain in all my splendor
Next to Spike if you pan left to right
I own Madison Square, catch me at the fight
But damn once again if you pan left at the ice
It be the man that write checks with the hand that don’t write
I go off the head when I’m rambling on the mic
And I go off the feds when I’m scrambling at night
And it was often said I brought hammers to the fight
But we from New York City, right Cam? (Ya damn right)

It’s the home of 9-11, the place of the lost towers
We still bangin’, we never lost power, tell em
Welcome to New York City, welcome to New York City
Y’all fuckin’ with BK’s banger and Harlem’s own gangster
Now that’s danger, there’s nothing left to say but
Welcome to New York City, welcome to New York City

Yo, there’s a war goin’ on outside no man is safe from
It don’t matter if you three feet or eight-one
You’ll get eight from the nine and straight blown
Wig split, melon cracked, all that on day one
Carry eight guns, two in the trunk
Two in the waist, two in the ankle, two to just spank you
You get jammed with them jammers, blammed with them blammers
Hot here, ask Mase he ran to Atlanta
Think you know what life do, minks on the motor-cycle
Trinkets they so delightful, blinging with so much ice fool
In front of Sparks body Castellano
Block away watch by Gotti and Gravano
It’s la cosra nostra, someone close approach ya
They’ll toast ya: gopher, bread loafer, your chauffeur
Old coke they raise up and snort, blaze up ya fort
Jay, Puff, Shyne: cases was caught
Midnight pitch fights, another victim
Watch him fore he watch you, Killa
Welcome to New York City, welcome to New York City

It’s the home of 9-11, the place of the lost towers
We still bangin’, we never lost power, tell em
Welcome to New York City, welcome to New York City
Y’all fuckin’ with BK’s banger and Harlem’s own gangster
Now that’s danger, there’s nothing left to say but
Welcome to New York City, welcome to New York City

I’m from 101, west a Hund 40th, this shit is live
5th floor, 56, you know the zip, district 5
You’re on 22nd, hit you from two-one
That’s on Lenox, 7th Ave was News One
Coverage at Centre Street
Got Brafman defendin’ me
Cause New York’ll miss me if I’m locked in the penitentiary
The judge said "Is this that thug, from the Kit-Kat club?"
But I got enough chips stacked up to make the bitch back up
Killa, I pinch that button, I grip that snub to hit that thug
Lay up in a pitch black tub
You lookin’ at rich black thugs to get that love
And we won’t stop til I get back Blood
Holla at em Hov

I’m from Flushing, Marcy, Nostrand, Myrtle and Park
Niggas’ll drive by in the day, murder you in the dark

It’s the home of 9-11, the place of the lost towers
We still bangin’, we never lost power, tell em
Welcome to New York City, welcome to New York City
Y’all fuckin’ with BK’s banger and Harlem’s own gangster
Now that’s danger, there’s nothing left to say but
Welcome to New York City, welcome to New York City

Hold on me – Mozzy feat. G-Eazy lyrics

Lyrics Mozzy – Hold on me

Shawty trynna throw it back all night
She know I got the plug for the right price
Pull up in the whip ..
I’m ten hoes deep in the ..
I think the money really got a hold on me
I think the money really got a hold on me
I think the money really got a hold on me
I think the moola really got a hold on me.

Yeah
I’m livin’ life like we ain’t promised tomorrow
Lotta dope smoked, lotta lotta gelato
Hundred band dance like niggas just hit the lotto
Got a greasy kid just to get in the condo
Backhand a b*tch for tryna bilk me with a condom
I can tell that you ain’t a gansta blood goofy with the ..
.., fifty thousand in diamonds just on my mama
Cautious when approaching a problem ..
You ain’t ’bout a comma, then we ain’t nothing in common
If you ain’t ’bout a comma, then we ain’t nothing in common
Still .. with expired tags on it
.. whatever you had on it, yeah
I fell off but baby I’m back on it, yeah
I fell off but baby I’m back on it
I really think the money got a hold on me
I’m tryna convince her that she should hold for me.

Shawty tryna throw it back all night
She know I got the plug for the right price
Pull up in the whip ..
I’m ten hoes deep in the ..
I think the money really got a hold on me
I think the money really got a hold on me
I think the money really got a hold on me
I think the mula really got a hold on meee.

I think the money really got a hold on me
I followed the code OGs told to me
And the game was given, it wasn’t sold to me
These hoes give it up to me because they owe it to me
I came up fully, I’m in a different bracket
Five bands for the leather, I’m in a different jacket
Money tall as Shaquille, I just been tryna stack it
Play me the beat and I kill, I’m trying to attack it
This game is too easy, I do this sh*t in my sleep
New York City, we mobbin’, I hit the club twenty deep
Cashin’ out when I feel like, Gerald never been cheap
It’s not that serious fam, I swear it isn’t that deep, uh
I swear it was perfect timing
If you ain’t ’bout a comma, then we ain’t nothing in common
The homies in black hoodies and beanies, they hella mobby
From Sac to the Bay, yeah you know that I f*ck with Mozzy
Ehhhh.

Shawty tryna throw it back all night
She know I got the plug for the right price
Pull up in the whip ..
I’m ten hoes deep in the ..
I think the money really got a hold on me
I think the money really got a hold on me
I think the money really got a hold on me
I think the moola really got a hold on me.

Yeah I think this money really got a hold on me
Niggas can’t get a hold on me
Now them niggas talk low on me
f*ck .. what you change, used to be broke homie
Now I’m bossed up, Louis V., ..
Ferragamo, Benihana, every night I’m bossed up
My lifestyle awesome, this is how it ‘posed to be
I don’t believe in luck, my blessings really got a hold on me
Money ain’t controllin’ me, but money is controllin’ me
The money .. I get the green
Devils get up off of me, help me get them off of me
I call these hoes, sluts and b*tches, and I drink up all of it
My mama said don’t let the money make your head bigger
I’m cocky as f*ck and I don’t f*ck with niggas
And I don’t trust these b*tches, ever since the word ‘gold digger’
My homie fell in love, I told him “No nigga, no nigga”.

Shawty tryna throw it back all night (but he ain’t listen)
She know I got the plug for the right price (ohhh)
Pull up in the whip ..
I’m ten hoes deep in the ..
I think the money really got a hold on meee
I think the money really got a hold on me (this money nigga)
I think the money really got a hold on me (sh*t will f*ck up your life, but it’s nice)
I think the mula really got a hold on meee.

Joel Adams – Die For You

[Verse 1]
I wish I was a movie star
That ain’t happening
I wish I’d drive a fancy car (no)
Well I’d fly to New York City
But my plane could never get that far
‘Cause my life ain’t what I thought it was
Said you like all the fancy things
Diamonds, Pearls, and Louis Vuitton
But my package just ain’t that big (no)
Spent all my life-time running
But I still haven’t got that far

[Chorus]
For you I ain’t giving up
Cause baby I’d die for you
I’d try for you, I’d live for you
You were all I do
Baby I’d die for you, I tried
You’re everything I do
Baby that’s just not good enough for you

[Verse 2]
You think you got the best of me
Yeah well you’re probably right
But you ain’t seen the rest of me (no)
Spent all my life-time running
But I still haven’t got that far

[Chorus]
For you I ain’t giving up
Cause baby I’d die for you
I’d try for you, I’d live for you
You were all I do
Baby I’d die for you, I tried
You’re everything I do
Baby that’s just not good enough for you

[Bridge]
‘Cause maybe I’m right, maybe I’m wrong
Maybe I wrote in all down in a song
You say what you like, I say what I want
You give me a list that goes on and on
But everytime you walk out that door
You got me thinking, baby now I want you even more
So say what you like, I’ll say what I want
I need somebody to save me

[Chorus]
Cause baby I’d die for you
I’d try for you, I’d live for you
You were all I do
Baby I’d die for you, I tried
You’re everything I do
‘Cause baby I’d
Cause baby I’d die for you
I’d try for you, I’d live for you
You were all I do
Baby I’d die for you, and I tried
You’re everything I do
Baby that’s just not good enough for you

Taylor Swift – Riptide Lyrics

I was scared of dentists and the dark
I was scared of pretty girls and starting conversations
Oh, all my friends are turning green
You’re the magician’s assistant in their dreams

Oh, and they come unstuck

Lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

There’s this movie that I think you’ll like
This guy decides to quit his job and heads to New York City
This cowboy’s running from himself
And she’s been living on the highest shelf

Oh, and they come unstuck

Lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

I just wanna, I just wanna know
If you’re gonna, if you’re gonna stay
I just gotta, I just gotta know
I can’t have it, I can’t have it any other way
I swear she’s destined for the screen
Closest thing to Michelle Pfeiffer that you’ve ever seen, oh

Lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

Oh lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

Oh lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong
I got a lump in my throat because you’re gonna sing the words wrong

Mako – North Dakota (Hourglass Album)

[Verse 1]
I think that I’d love North Dakota
I saw it once inside a magazine
Get this chip up off of my shoulder
Settle down somewhere the grass is green

[Pre-Chorus]
‘Cause California dreams has too many sleepless nights
I wanna feel the earth beneath my feet
Been searching for relief from all these city lights
I just need a place to let me be

[Chorus]
Let me be free
Let me be whole again
Let me be me
Let me take hold again
Let me be free
Let me be free

[Verse 2]
I took a ride in New York City
But, it was too much cocaine and the girls ain’t cheap
I had to get out before it killed me
Running good ain’t running at that speed

[Pre-Chorus]
‘Cause California dreams has too many sleepless nights
I wanna feel the earth beneath my feet
Been searching for relief from all these city lights
I just need a place to let me be

[Chorus]
Let me be free
Let me be whole again
Let me be me
Let me take hold again
Let me be free
Let me be free

[Chorus]
Let me be free
Let me be whole again
Let me be me
Let me take hold again
Let me be free
Let me be whole again
Let me be me
Let me take hold again

SIA – Satisfied lyrics

A toast to the groom!
(to the groom, to the groom, to the groom)
To the bride!
(to the bride, to the bride, to the bride)
From your sister
(Angelica, Angelica, Angelica)
Who is always by your side
(by your side, by your side)
To your union and the hope that you provide
(you provide, you provide)
May you always (always)
Be satisfied (Rewind)

Rewind!
Rewind!
I remember that night, I just might
I remember that night, I just might
I remember that night, I remember that—

I remember that night, I just might
Regret that night for the rest of my days
I remember those soldier boys
Tripping over themselves to win our praise
I remember that dreamlike candlelight
Like a dream that you can’t quite place
But Alexander, I’ll never forget the first
Time I saw your face

I have never been the same
Intelligent eyes in a hunger-pang frame
And when you said “Hi,”
I forgot my dang name
Set my heart aflame, ev’ry part aflame
This is not a game…

You strike me as a woman who has never been satisfied
I’m sure I don’t know what you mean, you forget yourself
You’re like me, I’ve never been satisfied
Is that right?
I have never been satisfied
My name’s Angelica Schuyler
Alexander Hamilton
Where’s your fam’ly from?
Unimportant, there’s a million things I haven’t done
Just you wait, just you wait…

So so so—
So this is what it feels like to match wits
With someone at your level! What the hell is the catch? It’s
The feeling of freedom, of seein’ the light
It’s Ben Franklin with a key and a kite! You see it, right?
The conversation lasted two minutes, maybe three minutes
Ev’rything we said in total agreement, it’s
A dream and it’s a bit of a dance
A bit of a posture, it’s a bit of a stance
He’s a bit of a flirt, but I’m ‘a give him a chance
I asked about his fam’ly, did you see his answer?
His hands started fidgeting, he looked askance
He’s penniless, he’s flying by the seat of his pants

Handsome, boy, does he know it!
Peach fuzz, and he can’t even grow it!
I wanna take him far away from this place
Then I turn and see my sister’s face and she is

Helpless
And I know she is
Helpless
And her eyes are just
Helpless
And I realize three fundamental truths at the exact same time

I’m a girl in a world in which
My only job is to marry rich
My father has no sons so I’m the one
Who has to social climb for one
Cause I’m the oldest and the wittiest and the gossip in
New York City is insidious
And Alexander is penniless
Ha! That doesn’t mean I want him any less

(doesn’t mean I want him any less)
(doesn’t mean I want him any less)
(doesn’t mean I want him any less)

He’s after me ’cause I’m a Schuyler sister
That elevates his status, I’d
Have to be naïve to set that aside
Maybe that is why I introduce him to Eliza
Now that’s his bride
Nice going, Angelica, he was right
You will never be satisfied

(I will never be satisfied)
(I will never be satisfied)

I know my sister like I know my own mind
You will never find anyone as trusting or as kind
If I tell her that I love him she’d be silently resigned
He’d be mine
She would say, “I’m fine”
But she’d be lying

But when I fantasize at night
It’s Alexander’s eyes
As I romanticize what might have been
If I hadn’t sized him up so quickly
At least my dear Eliza’s his wife
At least I keep his eyes in my life…

To the groom!
(to the groom, to the groom, to the groom)
To the bride!
(to the bride, to the bride, to the bride)
From your sister
(Angelica, Angelica, Angelica)
Who is always by your side
(by your side, by your side)
To your union and the hope that you provide
(you provide, you provide)
May you always
Be satisfied

And I know (yeah)
She’ll be happy as his bride
And I know
He will never be satisfied
I will never be satisfied…

Stevie Wonder – Livin For The City

A boy is born in hard time Mississippi
Surrounded by four walls that ain’t so pretty
His parents give him love and affection
To keep him strong moving in the right direction
Living just enough, just enough for the city

His father works some days for fourteen hours
And you can bet he barely makes a dollar
His mother goes to scrub the floors for many
And you’d best believe she hardly gets a penny
Living just enough, just enough for the city yeah

His sister’s black but she is sho ’nuff pretty
Her skirt is short but Lord her legs are sturdy
To walk to school she’s got to get up early
Her clothes are old but never are they dirty
Living just enough, just enough for the city

Her brother’s smart he’s got more sense than many
His patience’s long but soon he won’t have any
To find a job is like a haystack needle
‘Cause where he lives they don’t use colored people
Living just enough, just enough for the city

Living just enough for the city

His hair is long, his feet are hard and gritty
He spends his life walking the streets of New York City
He’s almost dead from breathing in air pollution
He tried to vote but to him there’s no solution

Living just enough, just enough for the city yeah, yeah, yeah!

I hope you hear inside my voice of sorrow
And that it motivates you to make a better tomorrow
This place is cruel no where could be much colder
If we don’t change the world will soon be over

Living just enough, just enough for the city!

Alicia Keys – The Gospel (Short Film)

[Intro: Method Man + Raekwon + Ghostface ]
Oh yeah, coming through with my Shaolin crew
Two cent for a case, gimme St. Ide’s brew
In the midst of broken bottles and crushed up cans
Methtical’s in a jam, oh how dry I am
With St. Ides in my system
Crack another I’m blessed, let’s go get the next one
And get over, the object is to stay sober
Lay on the sofa, better yet, dial my chauffeur
Call me the Wallabee Champ, stretched out, could never be Son
Ricochet daily hit the deli for a cold one
Naturally blessed, yes, my rap is like a laser beam
Laser beam, laser beam, laser beam…

[Intro: Alicia Keys]
Uh, yeah, okay
Sing

[Verse 1: Alicia Keys]
So we all got children, products of the ghetto
Momma cooked us soup, daddy did the yelling
Uncle was a drunk, cousin was a felon
When he got pitched, he told them he wasn’t tellin’
Auntie was a cook, her husband was a crook
Cause every job he had they be payin’ him off the books
Ghetto university, knowledge is all it took
In a tenement I was listenin’ to the hook
Change gon’ come, the spirit of Sam Cook
When the feds comin’, everybody get shook
Now we doin’ life like Eddie Murphy and Martin
On the chain gang, i was singing into the coffin

[Pre-Chorus: Alicia Keys]
The roaches and the rats, heroin and the cracks
Couldn’t blame me, I’m just giving the facts
Tryna hit the top, the bottom ain’t where it’s at
Everybody got a past but you can never go back

[Chorus: Alicia Keys]
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Sing
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (Sing)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (Sing)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (Sing)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (Sing)

[Verse 2: Alicia Keys]
Tellin’ you like it is, how we ever gon’ live?
If we ain’t gettin’ money, how we feedin’ the kids?
It’s a revolving door, where brothers be doin’ bids
I know it sound wrong but the door will be what it is
Survival of the fittest, this poor girl the illest
Broke parents and black cats give me heebie-geebies
Life seems hard but nothin’ ever comes easy
Whatever’s in the dark, can always become the light
If you ain’t in a battle, how you gon’ win the fight?
Gotta speak the truth when I’m up in the booth
The streets be flyin’ birds but they don’t be on the roof
Poverty is a pain like you pullin’ a tooth
Told the streets don’t let me go like I’m Bishop in Juice

[Pre-Chorus: Alicia Keys]
The roaches and the rats, heroin and the cracks
Couldn’t blame me, I’m just giving the facts
Tryna hit the top, the bottom ain’t where it’s at
Everybody got a past but you can never go back

[Chorus: Alicia Keys]
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Sing
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (yeah)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (yeah)
(Gotta sing)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (yeah)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (yeah)

[Outro]
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
(Sing)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
(Sing)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
(Gotta sing)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
(She’s a king)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (yeah)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (yeah)
And they sing New York City
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Lloyd Banks – Headache & Heartbreak (Halloween Havoc 3 Mixtape)

[Intro]
(Authentic)

[Verse 1]
Fool dumb as the last nigga that got at me
Shot up with bags of D
Fresh out of LIU, welcome to Halloween Havoc 3
Turning my mileage in, the last time you’re seeing me back for free
Blood in my writing pen, hype again, striking methodically
Honestly, can’t nobody see me
I’m in stealth form, champion
Kept the belt on, bodies for trampling, never felt for ’em
I don’t got the time to hate, let alone put the words together
At-ing niggas and never get at ’em, this is purging weather
Stack up on your surgeon cheddar
You’re rat and reptilian merged together
Folks know the fire, penned in disturbing letter
Giants stomping holes in these tracks, keeping the road crumbling
Opps don’t got no choice but falling back, uneasy souls hovering
Here’s the soundtrack for the riders, progress keeps the loads coming
Dollars won’t divide us, we’re back to the gold thugging
Flaunting armor through your airwaves, drown ’em in stereo
Wonder what took so long to spot ’em, these clowns took over years ago

[Hook]
Think so we’re done, I lied, I lost my mind
Product of heartbreak and the neighborhood never been the remorseful kind
Won’t see no handouts, you were forced to grind
Maybe you’re better off staying away, you’re (?), you cross the don
Make one mistake then knock you off your throne
I’m thinking, cutting and suffering, family hoping that you come back home
That man at work, don’t go disrupt his own
You on the wrong side of town for bitching, you belong with a sucker’s wrong

[Verse 2]
This time of year it’s hard to sleep, better bullets and trucks of red
Competition uncomfortable, this the month I play pumpkin head
Field kicking this shit for years, hop off on your disgruntled leg
Any contact from these punches fell, victims and knuckles bled
They tell you foul shit about me, don’t deliver it
Lee on the other hand woulda got into it for hearing it
Formed in the room of trauma, no silence for this experiment
Hands of a super doctor, high tolerance, I ain’t feeling shit
Anticipate reviews of my resume in the hottest summers
Look at what they push now, (?) gimmicks and one hit wonders
Perform in an empty stu’, fendi crew with the gun slid under
Lightening to your family room, disrespecting the son of thunder
Been here over (?) nigga
So for stomping daily, snap a monster picture
Blue and black from New York City’s hardest hitter
Problem baby, born guerrilla
Panic charms a killer
Chipped shoulder for soldiers that took me for granted, bombs delivered

[Hook]
Think so we’re done, (?) lost my mind
Product of heartbreak and the neighborhood never been the remorseful kind
Won’t see no handouts, you were forced to grind
Maybe you’re better off staying away, you’re (?), you cross the don
Make one mistake then knock you off your throne

Alicia Keys – The Gospel (Here Deluxe Edition Album) letras

Quinn – Full Circle

(Prod. ayokay)

(Intro: fade in)
They’re in love
They’re in love

(Chorus 1)
Aye, aye, words that I say
Downtown the light’s out but we choose to stay
I don’t know where this may go
These strangers know all the words in my songs
I tell she lovin’ our style
Shit makes her face red wheneva I smile
I lay down, takes off her clothes
Wake up, I leave for the door

(Verse)
Tell myself I don’t need a drink
I got champagne iced in the sink
They keep callin’ me for the link
Music’s there, but then still I think
I need ya!
Aye, aye, words that I say
East Coast to West Coast, we rhymin’ all day
I really do mean what I say
New York City to LA
Got me feelin’ like oh, no, we bout to blow
We just lay down, 16 songs in a row
You been told, this time you should know
(Now to get your girlfriend in the mood)
(Here’s a lil number by Quinn)

(Chorus 2)
Hey, baby, come inside of my room
I need you to leave out all of that news
I need you by my love and it’s all
Because you love me!
You don’t want me outta your sight
But I can’t stay here all of these nights
You need me by your side
And it’s all because you love me

(Verse 2)
And the man starts speakin’
That’s the sound of the week-end
Left my problems to dry
I’m loungin’ all in the deep end
I can chose whenever I wanna sleep in
So tell me where to go
And they can start peepin’ songs off my new album
Shit ain’t even got a title
Just started singin’, already shit on yo iDles
Smilin’ back at me as they rotated on vinyls
Sun-shaded vibes fill up a room and bloom with my arrival

(Bridge x2)
Roll one up then you pull one out
5 am when we go to sleep
And I’ll be up and I’m feeling good
This is how it’s supposed to be

(Chorus 1)

Anouk – There He Goes

A perfect model New York City
I feel alive and kinda pretty
On this sunny Sunday evening when no worries being done
I put my feet on the ground, you make self and turn around
As I pass an empty square, no one can see
‘Cause no one’s there
But when you walk on by through a city lights
I’m on fire, you’re like dynamite
You walk like a lion yellow man
I see myself holding your hand
You mesmerize me when I come undone
You warm me like the sun
Even your walk has its own groove
That draws me deeply into you
I don’t know where you’re coming from
You’ve got my heart beat like a drum
‘Cause when you walk on by through a city lights
Baby, I’m on fire, you’re like dynamite
Yeah, when you walk on by through a city lights
I’m on fire till you’re right on sight

Daya – Next Plane Out lyrics

[Verse 1]
New York City, looks so pretty
When you look around
Falling for this skyline, with your hand in mine
As the sun goes down

[Pre-Chorus 1]
So before it comes up again
And the questions come rolling in
Like who we have ever been
[Chorus]
It was only twenty-four hours chasing
Love we found on the train to uptown
Before it all went down
Why did you have to say it?
Now we learned it’s all ending right now
Because, baby, I’m on the next plane out

[Post-Chorus]
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
On the next plane out…

[Verse 2]
Awkward silence, as you stand in line with
Me to hail a cab
A little déjà vù, to when I met you
Only, this time it’s sad

[Pre-Chorus 2]
So before it crosses your mind again
And the questions come rolling in
Like who we have ever been

[Chorus]
It was only twenty-four hours chasing
Love we found on the train to uptown
Before it all went down
Why did you have to say it?
Now we learned it’s all ending right now
Because, baby, I’m on the next plane out

[Post-Chorus]
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
On the next plane out…
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
On the next plane out…

[Bridge]
I’m not one to rush, might be more than a crush
And I’m not ready for what you wanna give me
So I’m taking off, with all of my thoughts
I’m leaving my heart as a memory of

[Chorus]
Twenty-four hours chasing
Love we found on the train to uptown
Before it all went down
Why did you have to say it?
Now we learned it’s all ending right now
Because, baby, I’m on the next plane out

[Post-Chorus]
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
On the next plane out…
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
On the next plane out..

[Outro]
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na (Twenty-four hours chasing)
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
On the next plane out..
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na (Why did you have to say it?)
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na
On the next plane out..
